We will have booth at the St. Wenceslaus Bowtique! Come and talk with us so we can share all of the great work we’re doing! We’ll also be selling raffle tickets for our Treasure Chest Raffle.

September 25 is #WorldDreamDay! Everyday #soroptimists help women achieve their dreams through our Live Your Dream Award Program. This program provides financial assistance to women who are supporting a family and furthering their education. Check out the statistics reported by previous recipients. Applications are accepted until November 15. If you or someone you know would like to apply, let us know!

To celebrate Women’s History Month we’re having a poetry contest! This contest is open to all genders, ages 5+. Submissions of original poetry will be accepted from March 1-March 20. The top 2 submissions in each age group will receive a cash prize ($50 or $25) and will have the opportunity to recite their work at our annual awards ceremony (via Zoom) on April 28. Globally, nearly 70% of healthcare workers are women. Women have been disproportionately affected by the current pandemic in many areas, including being classified as essential workers.
